Facilitating citizen-led regeneration
With our European Partners we are helping to identify the skills gap within communities, and what skills and competencies are required to allow citizens to participate in the co-design of sustainable development solutions for creating social impact.
Social Prescensing Theatre (SPT)
Working with community organisations in Dublin we are testing and refining the use of Social Presencing Theatre in an Irish context, a tool that can create the optimum conditions for social innovation to occur within groups or communities. In brief SPT allows people to play out using physical movement and gesture how they experience the system as it is and as it might evolve. This work is supported by Community Foundation Ireland.
A Conversation of Possibilities, Terenure (complete)
When a discussion began about how to develop and expand Terenure Enterprise Centre (TEC), to enable to it to serve all the people who use it, Innovate Communities instigated a collaborative series of conversations to get everyone’s viewpoint on the right way forward.
